Loved this place! It was so beautiful and made our Wedding Day absolutely wonderful! Karen and her husband were so helpful and answered all of our questions promptly. I don't have one complaint, it was a magical day. I had a special pin attached to the underside of my dress for my "blue" and it was in memory of my brother and it had fallen off during the reception, during cleanup after we were all gone, it was swept up and Karen found it and saved it to return to me. It was just a small heart but it was special to me and it meant a lot! They went above and Beyond. Thank you so much!!!!

Our experience in hosting an event at Valley Mist Events was nothing short of amazing! The attentiveness of the owners in making sure our event ran smoothly was extraordinary as well. Prior to the event, Karen made sure that we knew all the options for food and drinks, cleanup, table clothes, seating and so on. The place was beautifully setup and ready for our guests when we arrived. During the event, Karen again helped ensure that our food service ran smoothly and that guests were taken care of. We had a lot of guests comment on how nicely decorated and beautiful the venue was. The grounds of the venue are exquisitely beautiful and spacious and are perfect for amazing photos and video. Besides removing things that we brought, cleanup was taken care of by the owners, this was a huge selling point and very helpful! For our event, we did bring in our own food, but I wish that we had not done this. Valley Mist offers catering options where they take care of everything, I highly, highly recommend using this service!! The benefits to hosting an event here greatly outweigh the cost, which by the way was beyond a fair price. While this is an exceptional venue for weddings, I would definitely recommend it for other events as well such as graduations, family reunions and the like. Overall our experience was fantastic and I would highly recommend Valley Mist Events to anyone that is looking to host a party or wedding!

The owners are AWESOME! There was nothing that they were not there for making sure everything, and I mean everything ran smooth. From parking, to the dj, to the catering, beautiful venue, pet fish, and it was choreographed to a T.

If you haven't checked this place out for your wedding or any event it's a MUST SEE!!!!! My niece got married there. It was absolutely amazing !!!!!
The accommodations for the wedding party and the guests with amazing service and plenty of room to enjoy the event !!! The building was amazing and decorated beautifully!!!!!
Plenty of parking ...... Beautiful scenery to enjoy the country setting
.... with a pond that you can actually feed the fish !!!! Plenty of places to take gorgeous pictures!

We used this venue for our wedding and could not be more pleased! Karen is an absolute godsend! We could not have done it without her! They help you every step of the way throughout the planning process and do everything possible to make sure your day is flawless. The settings are beautiful, the reception and ceremony areas are great. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else.

"If you’re even thinking about booking your wedding any where else, don’t! This place is amazing! Karen and her family make your special day as easy as possible. As a wedding DJ I rarely recommend wedding venues as most of them are nice and get the job done. But sometimes things really stick out to me and I love to share with future brides/grooms. Valley Mist Events is an amazingly beautiful place nestled in the valleys of Ironton. The scenery and privacy is amazing but what makes this place stand out is the husband and wife team that run it. The amount of time and energy they put into the big day is second to none. They are there on site the entire time to make sure all your needs are met, not only for the couple but the guests and vendors as well. All of this accomplished with a smile on their face the whole time!
I assure you this is not a paid advertisement but instead a heartfelt recommendation for a family owned small business doing it the right way.
